Success Stories: Ali Pourrahim & Hope For Men
We interviewed Ali Pourrahim, a student at Centria University of Applied Sciences and a current Growth Hacking Intern at Herizon.
Welcome to the highlights of our Growth Hacking Internship program! ✨
We interviewed Ali Pourrahim, a student at Centria University of Applied Sciences and a current Growth Hacking Intern at Herizon.
Ali collaborated with Hope for Men, an organization dedicated to supporting male survivors of sexual trauma worldwide, and here are Ali’s thoughts on his collaboration with his company and Herizon over the past two and half months.
Here’s a highlight that Ali shared with us:
Herizon has had a profound impact on my journey, and I’m proud to be part of its story. Everything was provided as best as possible, and I was so lucky to work with such a unique company!
How has the collaboration been with your case company? Share your growth hacking progress, examples, learnings and observations.
Working with Hope for Men has been a transformative experience. As a growth hacker, I’ve had the privilege of not just driving numbers but nurturing a space where male survivors feel safe to seek help. One of our biggest wins was increasing organic traffic and reaching out to the most important influencers of this subject through authentic, resonant content that spoke directly to those in need. This journey taught me that true growth is about more than metrics — it’s about empathy, trust, and creating pathways to healing.
How has the collaboration been with Herizon? Share examples, learnings and observations.
Herizon has been my anchor throughout this journey, offering guidance that’s both practical and compassionate. Navigating the sensitive nature of HfM’s mission was challenging, but with Herizon’s support, I learned to balance growth strategies with deep respect for our audience. When campaigns plateaued, Herizon helped me pivot towards storytelling and community, breathing new life into our efforts and reminding me that growth can be both powerful and humane.
Have you had any success cases at work that you'd want to share?
A standout moment was when we decided to reach out to influencers who had a strong connection with our mission. By partnering with them, we were able to increase our website traffic.
These influencers shared their own stories and our message with their followers, which not only amplified our reach but also brought a sense of community and solidarity to our audience. This effort wasn’t just about driving numbers even though we had a 40% content reach and engagement increase rate which is good 🙂; it was about fostering real, positive change in the lives of survivors.
If you would join the program again, what would you do differently as an intern? All thoughts help us to give better support to other interns.
If I were to do it all again, I’d focus more on building connections within the Herizon network. These relationships are invaluable, not just during the internship but for long-term growth and support. I’d also keep a more detailed journal to reflect on my journey and the lessons learned.
Would you recommend other students to join this program as well? If yes, why?
I wholeheartedly recommend this program to others. It offers a rare blend of professional growth and personal fulfillment, allowing you to learn and apply skills in ways that genuinely change lives. The mentorship and community at Herizon make it an unforgettable experience.
Ali, thank you for participating in our Growth Hacking Internship Program and we wish you progress and success in your current and upcoming projects! 💜
