Did you know that there are already half a million immigrants in Finland, and 34 % of them hold a higher educational diploma? However, many are struggling to find jobs that match their education and experience.

We're on a mission to change that. By the end of 2027, our goal is to get 10,000 people employed. So far 213 people have been employed, and we're just getting started!

170 people attended our event together with the city of Helsinki

How often on a slushy Monday morning do you get to see 170 people in a beautiful location, smiling at each other, and getting ready to mingle? Yep exactly! On the 30th of October, in the Helsinki City hall, the vibes were just like that!

With the Talents and Startups event co-organized with the City of Helsinki, our goal was to create an event that could offer job opportunities and expand people’s networks in Finland.

We gathered feedback from startups and talents and it seems that some really good work possibilities were created there. But also, this quote by an attendee sums it up quite perfectly:

"I wanted to express my gratitude for yesterday's event, "Talents and Startups." For me, the most important aspect was the feeling of being welcome. I mean as an immigrant and international talent.

Additionally, our amazing keynote speakers, Chiara Montecchiari, Mari Luukkainen, and Glenn Gassen, were absolutely rocking!

We are hosting a LinkedIn Bootcamp to the amazing Slush 2023 Volunteers + Meet us at Slush.

Slush is just around the corner, and we're thrilled to host two LinkedIn coaching sessions for Slush's Volunteers next week. Viivi, our LinkedIn expert, aims to inspire the Volunteers with some LinkedIn tips and tricks! 💡

Also, Herizon’s team—Mari, Viivi, and Meri—will be attending Slush on both days.
