Herizon Impact Newsletter 04/2023

Herizon is a non-profit with a mission of improving immigrant women's employment in tech. We've trained over 100 individuals with an excellent 94% employment rate.

Experimenting more inclusive community for scalability

Herizon's bottleneck in serving our almost 2000 applicants is still finding the company opportunities for internships. During the current financial situation companies are also very hesitant in recruiting new talent.

Due to this, Herizon is experimenting more inclusive and scalable learning community with Mightynetworks to provide Growth Hacking Fundamentals 8-week course with additional support resources such as guides to build an impactful LinkedIn profile and free job coaching call with our expert mentors.

We've seen a boost in inbound job opportunities every time a member activates themselves on LinkedIn so we hope these support functions increase our scalability before the bottleneck of companies is fixed!

+15 new members added to the community with +1 new internship taking us to 122 individuals in the impact.
