2024 was about doing the work, solving real problems, and preparing for what’s next.
2024 was a year of learning and focus for Herizon. We worked closely with universities, cities, and companies to expand opportunities for our community. From running internships and employment programs to hosting weekly events, we kept things practical and results-driven. We learned a lot about what's meaningful in immigrant employment, which set up the focus for the year 2025.
On the tech side, we made solid progress on our Labour Market Insight Platform, set to launch in early 2025, and laid the groundwork for a unified Talent Platform.
This year also brought valuable lessons. Scaling our operations and navigating public sector partnerships weren’t without challenges, but the progress made sets us up well for the coming year.
Metrics that matter

- Community members: Now at 1605, up from 1571 last month [Goal 2024: 2000]
- Employed members: Reached 572, up from 533 last month
- New jobs in 2024: 335 members have secured employment this year [Goal 2024: 200]
- Economic impact:
- New jobs: Contributing to €1,005,000 in monthly salaries [Goal 2024: €600,000]
- Total employment: Contributing to €1.71 million in monthly salaries, up from €1.51 million
