Herizon x HIVE Hackathon is here!
We're incredibly excited to invite our community members to join our first-ever hackathon with HIVE Helsinki coding school!
The winners will be featured in Herizon's impact and community newsletter and in all our social media channels. They'll also receive extra mentoring to continue developing your idea further or get your portfolio pitch-perfect.

As a registered Herizon community member, you have a talent profile that was created when you first joined us. Updating your profile is now super easy! Just head to portal.herizon.io and enter your email address.

Mari nominated as Diversity Role Model of the Year at Global Startup Awards
We're excited to share that our founder, Mari, has been nominated at the Global Startup Awards in the Diversity Role Model of the Year category. This recognition highlights the importance of empowering more women and underrepresented groups in the startup ecosystem.
At Herizon, we're proud to employ over 400 immigrants, promoting inclusion and diversity. With icebreaker.vc, Mari's worked to increase investments in startups with diverse founding teams from 22.3% in Fund I to 40.7% in Fund II, despite diverse teams representing only 14% of the pipeline. Additionally, she's now part of identity.vc the first VC in Europe investing in early-stage startups with LGBTQ+ leadership.

Viivi representing Finland in the Social Impact category at NWITA
Our Head of Community and Talent Viivi Marttinen on being a finalist and representing Finland in the Social Impact Award category at the Nordic Women in Tech Awards.
Viivi's dedication to empowering and mentoring emerging tech talent has made a significant impact. She single-handedly arranges over 100 events annually, providing international talents with valuable activities and networking opportunities every week.
